Memories still vivid (trip was near the start of the year) but I don’t see the point of typing a whole chunk of words nobody reads thus posting up in a photolog form with short descriptions here and there! Really wanna do this mini summary on this platform so I can read through and revisit the memories when I need to!
There are way too many snapshots taken. All the photos I’m gonna be posting up here are but a small fraction to summarize our healing trip to Taipei.
After stepping foot in Taipei, we proceeded to take the metro to our hotel (Park City Hotel), which is conveniently located right above St. Ignatius High School Station.
Selcas with sleepy faces~
We took a midnight flight thus arriving at our destination way too early for check-in. So we decide to check out the area and to hunt for breakfast.
My first meal in Taipei in one of the back alleys near the hotel. We spent almost an hour walking hand in hand, just chatting about everything, laughing at anything.
The couple chilling in front of the shopping mall (same building as the metro station and the hotel we stayed in)!
We popped by 五分埔 (wu fen pu), a known shopping district after breakfast. We knew well that most of the stores would not be open until noon but we still head over to check it out.
Had yummy food and snacked while we walked without a destination.
One thing I love about Taiwan is that it is an extremely dog-friendly country! Dogs can roam anywhere in stores, on the road without leashes and everyone will look out for them! Riders on motorbikes weaving through the small alleys of the shopping district will stop for the pups to cross too :D
And as you can see from above, the three musketeers of this store I was shopping in were really in love with Mr K. ♡♡♡
After briefly browsing through 五分埔, we headed back to the hotel to check-in before heading to night markets.
Will update more about the night market we went to as well as the famous 西門町 (xi men ding)!
It’s 5 in the am and my hair’s finally dry enough for me to go catch a nap.
Will be back soon enough.
